The Evil Within 2 Overview

The Evil Within 2 is a third person survival horror game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game can be played in platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The release date of The Evil Within 2 is October 13, 2017.

The Evil Within 2 is the sequel to its predecessor The Evil Within, which was released in October 14, 2014. Your character is Sebastian Castellanos, an ordinary man. In The Evil Within the game is happening in dark gloomy atmosphere, where you have to face lots of evil. 

The Evil Within 2 Story

The story of The Evil Within 2 is very interesting. The main character is Sebastian Castellanos, he is a police man with good courage and an brilliant guy. The story is happening in a city called Union, where a Mobius is a corporation aim of bringing the world of peace. They are created STEM device. The STEM device is used to connect between human mind and device. The STEM device is used to identify the character of human and predict his or his future and also find out their past.

One day Sebastian Castellanos is dismissed from police Department. He is completely disappointed and fall into drinking. He thought that his life is a waste. He have a daughter:Lily, he thought that she was dead. But after some days his former partner Juli Kidman come to him and tells that his daughter is alive. She is captured by Mobius for making the STEM device. So Sebastian wake from his bad mood and try to find Lily and destroy the Mobius.

The Evil Within 2 Gameplay

The single player story is arranged in chapters, which players complete in order to progress through the story. You  have a safe house called 'Safe Haven' that can be accessed during scripted events and by finding mirrors. In safe house you can save your game. You can use various weapons such as a revolver, shotgun, sniper rifle, knife, grenades, and the 'Agony Crossbow', a projectile weapon that fires bolts capable of freezing, blinding, electrocuting, or exploding enemies. 

Melee combat is designed only to create distance between the player and enemies, although the player can instantly kill some unaware enemies after sneaking behind them. In some stages you enters into a dark room s, every time he turns around, it changes, . At some point, you did't have any weapons, only have a  torch.

Also you have a Communicator, which helps to highlight the objectives, resources, and enemies featured in the game's world. 

You can explore the map area freely to complete side objectives and scout for resources, which are scarce.

The Evil Within 2 Modes

There are three modes, Casual, survival and Nightmare.
