ARK: Survival Evolved is an open world online survival adventure game. The game was released in August 2017 for all the platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Linux. The game can be played as single or multiplayer mode. These modes are player Vs player or within a group of friends in the player Vs environment. In the player Vs environment mode you are working together to build your camp without worry about other players invading. Also in this mode you have access to change your environmental and player settings to suit how fast you want to level up during the game.
In the Ark survival evolved game you have to build a base, for that players must gain structure components such as floors, doors and windows built with the resources littered throughout the world which are earned as they progress and gain levels. These components can be crafted and placed in the world. Players can create any structure, as long as they have the logistics and resources. The structural integrity of the building is compromised when the pillars and foundations are destroyed. Creating structures out of metal make them the most durable. Explosives can damage metal structures.
Game Features
In the beginning of the game you are being stranded, naked, starving and alone on a mysterious Island. You must forge, craft, harvest and build shelters in order to survive the harsh environment. Learning to craft weapons allows you to hunt for meat and hide to make clothing and tools. Then you learn skills ride dinosaurs using a challenging capture and affinity process by weakening the creature and rendering it unconscious. The game is challenging and that is what makes it worth playing.

Another good aspect of this game is whatever you craft or build wears down with time and also can be damaged by invading enemies. Repairs are needed and this is done by collecting the items you needed to previously build or craft that item. This adds a real life feel to daily wear and tear on tools and buildings. So you will get a feeling of a city building game that you have played before. All these factors gives you more pleasure.
In the beginning of the game you are first learning it is difficult to stay alive with all the prey, lack of food, and the no clothes situation. You will take long time to finally figure out how to stay hydrated and well fed. So you are in problem when being chased by larger prey who want to eat you when ultimately you need to eat them to survive. The multiplayer mode in the game is also very interesting. Like most multiplayer games there will always be a player who can kill and conquer other player's with no mercy.
ARK: Survival Evolved is a game that, once figured out, is very enjoyable to play. The challenge of building a stronghold with nothing but your hands, your instinct and sheer determination is the key to survive in the Island. And this is the most interesting part of the game.
